At 132 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over Slick Rock, or 27 miles southeast of La Sal, moving northeast at 30 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and penny size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation and outdoor objects is possible. Locations impacted include... Nucla, Naturita, Slick Rock, Egnar, and Vancorum. This includes the following highways... Colorado 90 between mile markers 25 and 33.
