...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTHWESTERN EAGLE...EAST
CENTRAL GARFIELD AND EAST CENTRAL RIO BLANCO COUNTIES THROUGH 545 PM
MDT...

At 515 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 19
miles north of New Castle, or 24 miles northwest of Glenwood Springs,
moving east at 45 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and nickel size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation and
         outdoor objects is possible.

Locations impacted include...
Buford.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 900 PM MDT for
northwestern and west central Colorado.
