...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT SOUTHWESTERN WHARTON...JACKSON
AND SOUTHWESTERN MATAGORDA COUNTIES THROUGH 500 AM CDT...

At 425 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from 6 miles east of Wood Hi to near Port Alto to 12
miles southeast of Schicke Point. Movement was northeast at 35 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Matagorda, Edna, Palacios, South Texas Nuclear Plant, Ganado, La
Ward, Schicke Point, Lolita, Blessing, Port Alto, Olivia, Vanderbilt,
Midfield, and Lake Texana Dam.
