Widely scattered showers and isolated storms were impacting parts
of central Kansas early this morning. Meanwhile, the majority of
the region remained dry. Skies ranged from clear to mostly cloudy
with predawn temperatures ranging from the upper 60s to lower
70s.

Dry weather conditions will prevail this afternoon although an
isolated storm or two may impact parts of western Kansas.
Afternoon highs will top out in the upper 80s across eastern
Kansas while the high plains of western Kansas will see highs in
the low to mid 90s. Breezy southerly winds may gust over 30 mph at
times across central and western Kansas this afternoon.

An isolated storm or two may linger over parts of northern Kansas
tonight while most locations will remain dry. Low temperatures are
expected to fall into the low to mid 60s for most areas with
breezy southerly winds persisting over the region.
