Areas of dense fog impacted portions of eastern and southeast Kansas
overnight. Visibilities of one-quarter mile or less were common.
Otherwise, quiet weather prevailed statewide, with predawn
temperatures in the 50s.

Early morning dense fog will continue across southeast Kansas.
Otherwise, hit-or-miss showers and perhaps a few thunderstorms will
move southeast across the region today, as a storm system approaches
from the northwest. Severe weather is not expected. Forecast high
temperatures are in the 70s across Kansas.

A few lingering showers and thunderstorms will impact southeast
Kansas this evening. Otherwise, quiet weather will prevail tonight,
with forecast low temperatures in the upper 40s and 50s.
