...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT COWLEY COUNTY THROUGH 1130 PM
CDT...

At 1044 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 6
miles southeast of Udall, moving southeast at 30 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Arkansas City, Winfield, Udall, Burden, Dexter, Atlanta, Geuda
Springs, Rock, Maple City, Winfield City Lake, and Strother Field
Airport.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 1100 PM CDT for
south central Kansas.
