.DISCUSSION...

Fire weather conditions remain low through the upcoming weekend as
temperatures favor near to slightly below normal values. Rain
chances will also dot the forecast with locally heavy rainfall
amounts exceeding one inch possible for portions of southwest
through central Nebraska.

Early next week, temperatures look to climb back to above normal
values on Monday but settle near seasonable values for the
remainder of the week. This may lead to some fire weather
concerns, however, daily low-end rain and thunderstorm chances
temper overall concern at this time.
