This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of western and north
central Nebraska.

.DAY ONE...Today and tonight.

Thunderstorms are possible late this afternoon into the evening hours
across western portions of the outlook area. Some storms may become
severe this evening, generally along and west of highway 61. Large
hail and damaging wind gusts are the main threats.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday.

Gusty southerly winds Monday and Tuesday, may lead to elevated fire
weather conditions across the area.

Thunderstorms are possible Monday across the outlook area. At this
time, the threat for severe storms Monday is low.

Thunderstorms are likely late Tuesday into Tuesday night across the
area. Severe storms are possible, mainly west of a line from Wauneta
to Valentine where a marginal risk for severe storms exists. Damaging
wind gusts are the main severe threat.

There are additional chances for thunderstorms Thursday night through
Saturday. At this time, the threat for severe storms is low.
