...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 900 PM CDT
FOR SOUTHWESTERN CHERRY COUNTY...
At 845 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 8 miles north of
Whitman, or 27 miles west of Mullen, moving southeast at 35 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and half dollar size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to
roofs, siding, and trees.
Locations impacted include...
Whitman Road crossing the North Branch of the Middle Loup River,
Speckel Meir Lake, Round Lake, Intersection of Highway 61 and Survey
Valley Road, and Hire.
This includes Highway 61 between mile markers 180 and 199.
