...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 845 PM CDT
FOR VERNON PARISH...

At 816 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from near Kurthwood to near Slagle to near Leesville to 6
miles west of New Llano, moving east at 45 mph.

HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect considerable
         tree damage. Wind damage is also likely to mobile homes,
         roofs, and outbuildings.

Locations impacted include...
Leesville, Anacoco, Fort Johnson, Slagle, New Llano, Hornbeck,
Lacamp, Fullerton, Hutton, Kurthwood, Cravens, Simpson, and
Pickering.
