...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTHERN TISHOMINGO...
NORTHEASTERN PRENTISS AND SOUTHEASTERN ALCORN COUNTIES THROUGH 300 PM
CDT...

At 236 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Thrashers, or near Booneville, moving northeast at 40 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Booneville, Iuka, J P Coleman State Park, Burnsville, Glen,
Thrashers, Midway, Leedy, Rienzi, Bacon Springs, Oldham, Doskie,
Blythe Crossing, Gaston, Hazard Switch, Walker Siding, Holcut, Holts
Spur, and Altitude.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 700 PM CDT for
west Tennessee.
