A prolonged period of drying is expected through next weekend
with very little chances for rainfall in the forecast. At this
time, there is a very small chance for thunderstorms east of the
Cascades this afternoon, and a slightly better chance tomorrow
afternoon. High pressure returns by middle of next week with
triple digits possible through July 4th and into the weekend.
Elevated to critical fire weather conditions could become a common
theme next week, with critical fire weather possible starting
Tuesday. Western parts of Siskiyou County currently has the
highest probability for critical fire weather conditions next
week.
