...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT WESTERN JONES...SOUTHWESTERN
LENOIR AND NORTHEASTERN DUPLIN COUNTIES THROUGH 345 PM EDT...

At 318 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Albertson, or 7 miles south of La Grange, moving east at 25 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Kinston, La Grange, Deep Run, Albertson, and Sandy Bottom.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 800 PM EDT for
eastern North Carolina.
