.DISCUSSION...

Most areas will be stay warm and dry this afternoon. Isolated to
widely scattered showers and storms possible in the northeast
mountains along the North Carolina border. More scattered showers
and storms possible across the northern plateau late this afternoon
into the evening. Rain chances increase west of Interstate 75 and
north of Interstate 40 late tonight. A more significant chance for
showers and thunderstorms Thursday and may be strong in northern
areas. The high rain chances continue through the weekend.
