New England continental shelf and slope waters from 25 nm
offshore to the Hague Line, except to 1000 fm south of New
England.

Conditions given represent the highest within that period.

Seas given as significant wave height, which is the average
height of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be
more than twice the significant wave height.

Locally higher winds and seas can be expected in and near tstms.

The National Weather Service is accepting public comments until
July 29 2024 on a proposal to replace feet with meters when
describing seas in a variety of National Marine Center text
and graphical products for the Offshore and High Seas Areas

.SYNOPSIS FOR NEW ENGLAND WATERS...A weak cold front will move
over the waters tonight before weakening Tue. Low pressure will
pass SE of Georges Bank Tue night before moving E of the waters
Wed. Weak high pressure will pass just S of the region Wed night
into Thu before shifting E of the waters Thu night. A cold front
will approach from the NW Fri, then move across the waters Fri
night into Sat. Another high will build NW of the region Sat
night.

.TONIGHT...W to SW winds 5 to 10 kt, becoming W to NW. Seas 3 to
4 ft.
.TUE...W to NW winds less than 10 kt, becoming SW. Seas 3 to
4 ft.
.TUE NIGHT...S winds 5 to 10 kt, becoming variable. Seas 3 to
4 ft.
.WED...Variable winds less than 5 kt, becoming S. Seas 3 to
