height of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be
more than twice the significant wave height.

.SYNOPSIS FOR WASHINGTON AND OREGON WATERS...A high pressure
ridge will slowly weaken over the waters through Tue. At the same
time a coastal trough will expand along the coast and persist
through Tue. A weak cold front will pass across the waters Tue
night through Wed night. A strong low pressure system will pass
likely to the NW and then N of the waters Thu and Thu night with
significant swells entering the waters from late Thu into Fri
night. Conditions then improve by early Sat as high pressure
begins to build over the waters.
