At 1042 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from near Goreville to near Dongola to Olive Branch. Movement was east at 40 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and half inch hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Metropolis, Vienna, La Center, Goreville, Mounds, Dongola, Barlow, Golconda, Tamms, Mound City, Karnak, New Columbia, Dixon Springs, Olive Branch, Lake Of Egypt Area, Ullin, Kevil, Joppa, Olmsted, and Cypress.
