Issued by NWS Pueblo, CO
246 FNUS55 KPUB 150103 FWFPUB Fire Weather Planning Forecast FOR S Cntrl and Sern Colorado National Weather Service Pueblo Co 703 PM MDT Fri Jun 14 2024 .Discussion... Isolated showers and thunderstorms will come to an end this evening. Another round of isolated thunderstorms will be possible over the eastern mountains and I-25 corridor Saturday afternoon. The next chance for showers and thunderstorms will be next Wednesday. Very hot temperatures will return to the region early next week, which will aid in drying out the fuels across southern Colorado. Winds will also increase during that time, which will present critical fire weather days, if the fuels are deemed critical across the region. Smoke dispersion is expected to be good to excellent across the area on Saturday, and excellent on Sunday. --- thunderstorms imply strong gusty and erratic winds --- COZ220-151015- Upper Arkansas River Valley Including Lake County and Chaffee County- 703 PM MDT Fri Jun 14 2024 .REST OF TONIGHT...
