...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT DAVIDSON AND RANDOLPH COUNTIES
THROUGH 715 PM EDT...

At 615 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong
thunderstorms along a line extending from near Lexington to Faith.
Movement was east at 40 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
High Point, Asheboro, Lexington, Randleman, North Carolina Zoo,
Thomasville, Seagrove, Linwood, Archdale, and Trinity.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. If outdoors,
seek shelter inside a building now!
