Overall light afternoon breezes and dry conditions will continue through Friday with poor mid-slopes recoveries expected across the far eastern district. Southwest winds will increase by Saturday afternoon with breezy conditions continuing into early next week. $$ ECC012-201100- Tahoe Basin, Sierra Foothills and El Dorado NF- Discussion for Camino 346 AM PDT Wed Jun 19 2024 A warming trend continues with near triple digit heat possible for lower western Sierra foothills by Saturday. Higher elevation Sierra valleys will warm into the mid-80s. Dry conditions will be in place this week with good RH recoveries for low elevations and moderate recoveries across the Tahoe Basin. Aside from isolated showers along the Sierra in Alpine and Mono counties on Thursday, conditions will remain dry this week.
