Dry and well above average temperatures will persist through
Thursday before a cooling trend settles in over the weekend. Winds
will be on the increase Friday afternoon and evening ahead of an
incoming dry cold front. This could result in a several hours of
critical fire weather conditions in any receptive fuels.

Well above average temperatures along with showers and isolated
thunderstorms will be possible for portions of the E.Sierra and
W.Nevada south of US 50 today and Thursday. Gusty winds along with
drier conditions on Friday ahead of an incoming dry cold front
will result in several hours of critical fire weather conditions
in any areas of receptive fuels.
