.DISCUSSION...FOR EXTREME SOUTHWESTERN CALIFORNIA INCLUDING ORANGE...
SAN DIEGO...WESTERN RIVERSIDE AND SOUTHWESTERN SAN BERNARDINO
COUNTIES...

Update...
The 12z Miramar sounding showed a stout 13C degree inversion
based near 2100 feet. Low clouds extend through the western
valleys and portions of the Inland Empire this morning, but are
starting to erode across the eastern valleys. With the strength of
the inversion, it will be tough to see any sun at the coast
today. This will keep the coast and western valleys a few degrees
shy of seasonal averages, but slow warming will continue across
the mountains and deserts, and highs will run 5-10 degrees above
normal in those areas today.

Previous Discussion (Issued 232 AM PDT Tue Jun 11 2024)...

coast each afternoon. A few degrees cooler for most areas on
Thursday as a weak upper level low pressure system moves inland
through southern California.

&&

.LONG TERM (Friday through Monday)...
Warmer on Saturday with high temperatures a few degrees above
average near the coast to 5 to 10 degrees above average for the
lower deserts with high temperatures in the lower 70s near the
