.DISCUSSION...Dry conditions will remain in place today with
temperatures warming to a few degrees above normal for this time
of year. A signficiant increase in moisture will occur on Friday,
with decent humidity recovery. Scattered showers and thunderstorms
will develop late in the morning and early afternoon and persist
through early evening. This activity will be capable of producing
heavy rainfall, gusty outflow winds and hail. As is the case with
convection, a wide range in possible precipitation amounts is in the
forecast, with possible amounts ranging from 0 to 1.25". Whether it
rains or not, a signficiant increase in humidity will occur Friday
and Friday night.
