.DISCUSSION...An area of low pressure currently located near Reno,
NV will track across the Utah/Idaho border region on Tuesday. As
a result, a strong cold front will move through the area late
tonight, bringing much cooler temperatures to the area on Tuesday,
along with numerous showers. Can`t rule out an occasional
snowflake mixing in Tuesday morning, with a dusting possible.
There is a 10% chance or so of 1" of snow Tuesday morning through
Tuesday night. The low will move out of the area Wednesday, but
cool temperatures and isolated showers will persist. On Thursday,
another area of low pressure will drop into the Great Basin and
persist through Friday or Saturday, keeping the cool conditions
around and maintaining chances for additional showers. Excellent
RH recovery is expected each day into this weekend. Other than
Tuesday, best chances for wetting rains is Friday.
