.DISCUSSION...Much cooler temperatures have built into the area
behind yesterday`s strong cold front. Temperatures will be 10F to
15F below normal today, but temperatures will return to near normal
on Wednesday. Little humidity recovery has built in behind the front,
however, and humidity will remain low through Thursday. Much lighter
winds will be in place both today and tomorrow, although occasionally
gusty west winds of 15-20 mph are likely late this afternoon and
early evening. Humidity is expected to increase markedly for one day
(Friday) as a brief moisture surge moves in from the southeast.
Showers and a few thunderstorms will accompany this moisture surge.
Look for Friday`s min RH to rise into the 30-40 percent range, quite
an increase from the recent single digit to teens percent range of
recent days.
