Area Forecast Discussion
National Weather Service Tampa Bay Ruskin FL
725 PM EDT Mon May 27 2024

.UPDATE...
A weakening frontal boundary will move south into the region
tonight into Tuesday, bringing scattered showers and a few storms
across our northern zones overnight. It still appears that some
activity will make it farther south toward morning, but then
westerly flow takes over and pushes any remaining rain off to the
interior and eastern part of the peninsula through the rest of the
day. The current forecast remains on track with no updates needed.

.AVIATION...
(00Z TAFS)
Mainly VFR conditions are expected. Sites could see some MVFR cigs
develop toward morning, but confidence remains on the low side so
will only mention here. A few showers will also be possible
tomorrow, but again, chances are too low to mention in the TAFs.

&&

.MARINE...
A weakening frontal boundary will move south over the region
tonight through Tuesday, bringing a chance for some showers,
especially for the northern coastal waters. Overall, no headlines
are expected through the period as weak high pressure builds back
in for the rest of the week.
