...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 1030 PM CDT
FOR SOUTHERN FRANKLIN AND NORTHERN ANDERSON COUNTIES...

At 1006 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Richmond,
moving east at 25 mph.

HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

SOURCE...Emergency management. At 951 PM CDT emergency management
         estimated 70 to 80 mph winds south of Williamsburg along
         the Anderson County border.

IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect considerable
         tree damage. Wind damage is also likely to mobile homes,
         roofs, and outbuildings.

Locations impacted include...
Garnett, Richmond, Williamsburg, Greeley, Princeton, and Lane.

This includes Interstate 35 between mile markers 168 and 174.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 1100 PM CDT for east central
Kansas.

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.
