...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT NORTHEASTERN CIBOLA...EAST
CENTRAL MCKINLEY AND SOUTHWESTERN SANDOVAL COUNTIES THROUGH 315 PM
MDT...

At 246 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from 20 miles south of Pueblo Pintado to 9 miles
west of Acoma Pueblo. Movement was east at 35 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Grants, Laguna Pueblo, Acoma Pueblo, Cubero, Cebolletita, Mesita,
McCartys, Marquez, Skyline-Ganipa, and New Laguna.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If threatening weather approaches your area, take shelter in a sturdy
building.

Frequent dangerous cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these
storms. Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek
a safe shelter inside a building or vehicle.
