.SYNOPSIS FOR THE WESTERN GULF OF ALASKA...

A 975 mb low at 58N 149W weakens as it loops over the northern
Gulf, reaching 59N 148W at 990 mb by Tue afternoon. The low then
drifts back to 57N 148W at 992 mb by Wed afternoon. The front
associated with the low will remain nearly stationary over south
central Alaska though Wed afternoon.
