This is the annual 4th
of July parade in
Wasilla.  While the
address given is a
central location for
the parade, it actually
starts at the Wasilla
High School, follows
south on Crusey Street,
West on Swanson Ave,
North on Lucille Street
and then back east on
Nelson Street and
Bogard Road back to the
high school.  Set up
begins at 0600. The
floats will begin
lining up around 0800
and the parade begins
at 1100.  It is planned
to run through 1300
with floats returning
back to the high school
and leaving the area by
1400.  We are looking
for info about rain,
humidity, wind or
excess heat and sun for
the event due to the
parade floats, vehicles
and  walkers that will
be on the almost 2.5
parade route. Water
stations and first aid
will be available along
the route. Just giving
attendees and
participants an idea of
weather issues they
could face getting to,
sitting through and
leaving the parade.
Mainly we are concerned
with 1500 from 3 Jul
2024 through 1500 on 4
July 2024.  Please
