.DISCUSSION...
A strong high pressure is settled in the eastern interior with a
strong low pressure in the gulf is creating a surface boundary
from the ALcan Border to Point Hope. This boundary is where we
will see scattered thunderstorms develop today. We are expecting
a lot of lightning associated with these storms as well as hail up
to an inch and gusty erratic winds as strong as 40 mph.
Temperatures will remain in the upper 70s with minimum RH values
around 30%.

Sky/weather.........Partly sunny (50-60 percent). Areas of smoke
                    through the day. Isolated showers and
                    thunderstorms early in the morning. Scattered
                    showers and thunderstorms in the afternoon.

Wind (20 ft)........Light winds. Gusty and erratic winds expected
