...DENSE SMOKE ADVISORY NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL 10 AM AKDT
WEDNESDAY...

* WHAT...Visibility one mile or less in dense smoke.

* WHERE...Fairbanks Metro Area.

* WHEN...Until 10 AM AKDT Wednesday.

* IMPACTS...Hazardous driving conditions due to low visibility.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...The winds are remaining calm to light and
  variable over Fairbanks, today. Therefore, conditions are not
  expected to appreciably improve for a significant time frame
  until at least some time on Wednesday. Smoke looks to remain
  dense at times into the middle part of this week.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Persons with respiratory illnesses should remain indoors to avoid
inhaling smoke. If driving, slow down, use your headlights, and
leave plenty of distance ahead of you.
