...DENSE SMOKE ADVISORY NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL 6 AM AKDT FRIDAY...

* WHAT...Visibility less than one mile in dense smoke.

* WHERE...Tanana Flats, Eielson AFB and Salcha and Fairbanks
  Metro Area.

* WHEN...Until 6 AM AKDT Friday.

* IMPACTS...Hazardous driving conditions due to low visibility.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Persons with respiratory illnesses should remain indoors to avoid
inhaling smoke. If driving, slow down, use your headlights, and
leave plenty of distance ahead of you.

  River. Elliott Highway mileposts 38 through 48 and the Steese
  Highway near Central.

* WHEN...Until 6 AM AKDT Friday.

* IMPACTS...Hazardous driving conditions due to low visibility.
