A cold front slowly moves through the area tonight into Thu. Hot
this afternoon with scattered showers and storms from late this
afternoon into tonight. Any storms will have the potential to
produce strong wind gusts. A chance of showers and storms lingers
into Thu for southern Virginia and northeast North Carolina. Drier
Friday as high pressure builds north of the region.
