Fire Weather Planning Forecast For CEN/ERN VA...NE NC...MD ERN SHORE
National Weather Service WAKEFIELD VA
348 AM EDT Sat Jun 22 2024

.DISCUSSION...
High pressure will remain in control of the weather across the
area through the weekend. As such, hot and dry conditions will
remain in place, with max temps in the mid 90s to around 100 and
Min RH values of 35-45%. Look for wind gusts in the 20-25 mph
range on Sunday. A chance of showers and storms arrives Sunday
evening into Sunday night and continues into Monday.
Unfortunately rain amounts will be unimpressive outside of the
heaviest storms, generally only one to two tenths of an inch for
those areas lucky enough to get any rain.
