At 238 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated strong thunderstorms, capable
of producing winds to around 30 knots. These thunderstorms were
located along a line extending from near Mouth Of The Potomac River
to near Hampton Flats, moving east at 20 knots.

Locations impacted include...
New Point Comfort, Nassawadox Reef, Crisfield, Thimble Shoals, Tue
Marshes Light, Stingray Point, Occohannock Reef, Hampton Flats,
Willoughby Bay, Sewells Point, Cabbage Patch, Longs Creek Inlet,
Rappahannock Light, Latimer Shoal, Nandua Pungoteague Reef, Mobjack
Bay, Gwynns Island Reef, Kiptopeke Concrete Ships, Hampton Roads
Bridge Tunnel, and Smith Point.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Mariners can expect gusty winds to around 30 knots, locally higher
waves, and lightning strikes. Boaters should seek safe harbor
immediately until these storms pass.
