Our stretch of hot and humid weather continues today with scattered areas of showers and thunderstorms this afternoon. Some storms may become strong producing damaging winds gusts, heavy downpours, and frequent lightning. We remain very warm and humid Friday through the weekend but not quite as hot as previous days.
