...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTHWESTERN WARREN AND NORTH
CENTRAL SARATOGA COUNTIES THROUGH 445 PM EDT...

At 359 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Lake George Village, moving northeast at 10 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Lake George Village, Lake Luzerne Campground, Queensbury, Hadley,
Lake George, Big Hollow, Allentown, French Mountain, Fourth Lake,
Conklingville, Stony Creek Station, Paradise Beach, Crosbyside, Lake
Sunnyside, Lake Luzerne-Hadley, Lake Vanare, and Lynnwood.

This includes Interstate 87 between exits 20 and 22.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 800 PM EDT for
east central New York.
