Coastal Waters Forecast for the Lower Texas Coast

Lower Texas coastal waters from Baffin Bay to the mouth of the
Rio Grande out 60 NM.

Seas are provided as a range of the average height of the highest
1/3 of the waves, along with the occasional height of the average
highest 10 percent of the waves.

.SYNOPSIS...Elevated seas generated from increased winds
surrounding the broad area of low pressure to the south of the
coastal waters will slowly improve throughout the next 24 to 48
hours. Gentle to light easterly nearshore (0-20 nm) winds and
moderate easterly winds offshore (20-60 nm) will gradually become
gentle to light southeasterly across all waters on Monday.
Gentle to moderate southeasterly winds will resume by midweek
along with a daily chance of showers and thunderstorms for the
rest of the forecast period.
