Seas are provided as a range of the average height of the highest 1/3 of the waves, along with the occasional height of the average highest 10 percent of the waves. GMZ100-112115- 313 AM CDT Tue Jun 11 2024 .SYNOPSIS...High pressure over the north-central Gulf of Mexico and a weak pressure gradient over the region will produce favorable conditions with light to moderate east to southeast winds and generally low seas through the forecast. Convection over the Gulf will be more active this week, with periodic isolated showers and thunderstorms along the lower Texas coast.
