Coastal Waters Forecast for the Lower Texas Coast

Lower Texas coastal waters from Baffin Bay to the mouth of the
Rio Grande out 60 NM.

Seas are provided as a range of the average height of the highest
1/3 of the waves, along with the occasional height of the average
highest 10 percent of the waves.

.SYNOPSIS...A long period swell from Hurricane Helene, currently
moving over the state of Georgia, will continue to direct a 6-7
foot swell at 11-12 seconds towards the lower Texas coast. Small
Craft Advisories for the far offshore Gulf waters continue through
1 PM today. Swells should slowly dampen out later today and
tonight with fair marine conditions expected this weekend and
early next week.
