Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Central South Carolina
and East Central Georgia
National Weather Service Columbia SC
156 AM EDT Fri Jun 28 2024

.DISCUSSION...
A frontal boundary should move into the Southeast U.S. early next week
with a better chance of rainfall with scattered to numerous showers and
thunderstorms. A widespread wetting rain is not expected with this
increase in convective activity.

Excessive heat and humidity remain a concern this weekend before a
briefing cooling trend occurs Monday through Tuesday. The heat and
humidity return by the Fourth of July.

Fog potential for tonight: Patchy fog possible.
