Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Central South Carolina
and East Central Georgia
National Weather Service Columbia SC
338 AM EDT Fri Sep 20 2024

.DISCUSSION...
Drier air and warmer conditions move into the district as surface
high pressure and an upper ridge build over the region. Shower
chances are expected to be limited today, with just a few possible
in the northern Midlands. Temperatures remain on the warmer side
and afternoon RH values gradually decrease to the 45-55 percent
range by Sunday. The warm and dry conditions continue into the
week ahead.

Tonight: Patchy fog is possible.
