and East Central Georgia
National Weather Service Columbia SC
445 AM EDT Sun Sep 22 2024

.DISCUSSION...
High pressure will continue to prevail over the region today
into early next week. An upper ridge will also be over the
region providing warm and generally dry conditions with
very warm high temperatures in the lower 90s. Min RH values
expected to be between 40-50 percent today and increase
slowly early next week as low level moisture increases.
Isolated showers this afternoon across the southeast Midlands
and CSRA but no significant rainfall is expected. Surface winds
should be somewhat variable through the day with a prevailing
direction of westerly this afternoon.

Tonight: Patchy fog is unlikely outside of fog prone locations.
