High pressure will linger across the region through Wednesday. A
tropical cyclone is forecast to track northward across the Gulf
of Mexico, then move inland late week across portions of Florida,
Georgia, and possibly South Carolina. Drier weather then arrives
for the weekend. Refer to the latest advisory on Helene issued by
the National Hurricane Center.
