...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT EAST CENTRAL ELK...WESTERN
LYCOMING...SOUTHERN POTTER...CAMERON...SOUTHWESTERN TIOGA AND
NORTHWESTERN CLINTON COUNTIES THROUGH 600 PM EDT...

At 535 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Wharton to near Kersey.
Movement was east at 40 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
St. Marys, Wellsboro, Cameron, Wharton, Emporium, Benezette, Cross
Fork, Leetonia, Stevenson Dam, Cherry Springs State Park, Hicks Run,
Leonard Harrison State Park, Tamarack, Kettle Creek State Park,
Truman, Ole Bull State Park, Kersey, Austin, and Driftwood.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

These storms may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.

Persons in campgrounds should consider seeking sturdy shelter until
these storms pass.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 1000 PM EDT for
north central Pennsylvania.
