...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTHWESTERN BOX BUTTE...
SOUTHERN DAWES AND NORTHEASTERN SIOUX COUNTIES THROUGH 900 PM MDT...

At 829 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 10
miles northwest of Box Butte Campground, or 26 miles southwest of
Chadron, moving north at 40 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Crawford, Whitney, Roberts Trailhead Campground, Box Butte
Campground, Whitney Lake, Soldier Creek Campground, Red Cloud
Campground, Box Butte Reservoir, Fort Robinson State Park, Chadron
State Park, Marsland, Belmont, Box Butte Dam, and Chadron State Park
Campground.
