...The Flood Warning is extended for the following rivers in Iowa...

  Cedar River at Cedar Falls affecting Black Hawk County.

  Winnebago River at Mason City affecting Cerro Gordo, Worth and
  Floyd Counties.

  Des Moines River near Stratford affecting Webster, Hamilton and
  Boone Counties.

...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Iowa...

  Cedar River at Waterloo affecting Black Hawk County.

  Cedar River at Janesville affecting Butler, Black Hawk and Bremer
  Counties.

  Shell Rock River at Shell Rock affecting Butler, Black Hawk and
  Bremer Counties.

  Des Moines River at Fort Dodge affecting Webster County.

  West Fork Des Moines River at Humboldt affecting Humboldt County.

  West Fork Des Moines River at Emmetsburg affecting Palo Alto and
  Pocahontas Counties.

  West Fork Des Moines River at Estherville affecting Emmet County.

  East Fork Des Moines River at Dakota City affecting Humboldt
  County.

  East Fork Des Moines River near Algona affecting Kossuth and
  Humboldt Counties.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.

For the latest river and stream observations and forecasts refer to
weather.gov/desmoines/water.

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

River forecasts include observed precipitation plus forecast
precipitation over the next 24 hours.

* WHERE...The Winnebago River at Mason City, or from Beaver Creek
  near Fertile to the Shell Rock River near Rockford.

* WHEN...Until late this afternoon.

* IMPACTS...At 10.0 feet, Widespread flooding occurs at city parks.
  Water reaches the underside of the 12th St NE bridge at the piers.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 2:30 AM CDT Monday the stage was 10.2 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood today
    and continue falling and remain below flood stage.
  - Flood stage is 10.0 feet.

  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
    this morning and continue rising to a crest of 25.9 feet
    Thursday morning.
  - Flood stage is 19.0 feet.

* WHERE...The Cedar River at Cedar Falls, or from the West Fork
  Cedar River to the Cedar Falls-Waterloo city limits.

* WHEN...Until early Friday morning.

* IMPACTS...At 93.3 feet, Water affects Cottage Row Rd south of
  Center St as well as Big Woods Rd at Lark Lane.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 2:45 AM CDT Monday the stage was 88.4 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
    later this morning to a crest of 93.3 feet tomorrow evening.
    It will then fall below flood stage Thursday afternoon.
  - Flood stage is 89.0 feet.

    flood stage.

    Thursday evening.

* IMPACTS...At 20.0 feet, Water affects portions of US 18. Water
  enters the parking lot of the shopping center north of US 18 and
  west of the river.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 3:15 AM CDT Monday the stage was 20.5 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage
    early Saturday afternoon and continue falling and remain
    below flood stage.
  - Flood stage is 17.0 feet.

    feet Wednesday morning.
  - Flood stage is 10.0 feet.
  - Flood History...The current record crest is 15.4 feet on
    04/14/1969.

  - Flood History...The previous record crest was 14.8 feet on
    04/12/1969.

  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 19.5
    feet early Wednesday afternoon.
  - Flood stage is 10.5 feet.
  - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of
    19.9 feet on 06/21/1954.

  - At 3:00 AM CDT Monday the stage was 10.3 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
    late this evening to a crest of 15.3 feet Tuesday evening. It
    will then fall below flood stage late Wednesday evening.
  - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

* WHEN...From late tonight to early Wednesday afternoon.

* IMPACTS...At 14.0 feet, Water threatens areas of Janesville south
  of 8th St.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 2:45 AM CDT Monday the stage was 8.5 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
    just after midnight tonight to a crest of 14.0 feet early
    Tuesday afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage early
    Wednesday morning.
  - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.
