This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of central Iowa.

.DAY ONE...Tonight

Scattered thunderstorms will spread from west to east across the
area. Severe weather is not expected.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday

Periods of showers and thunderstorms are expected on Friday.
There is a risk of locally heavy rain along with strong winds and
hail, primarily during the afternoon and evening hours, and the
possibility of a few tornadoes cannot be ruled out.

There are additional chances for thunderstorms between Monday and
Wednesday of next week. The potential for any associated heavy
rain or severe weather risks will be better determined in the
coming days.
