At 217 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near Cordova, or 9 miles southwest of Clinton, moving east at 20 mph. HAZARD...Half inch hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible. Locations impacted include... Clinton, Camanche, Garden Plain, Albany, Princeton, Cordova, Rock Creek Marina and Campground, Newton Corners, Folletts, Rock Creek Park, and Princeton Wildlife Area. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. Torrential rainfall is occurring and may lead to localized flooding.
